Dear Richard & Judy
I am writing to you to WELCOME YOU BACK onto the television as you are coming back on June the 18th, which really is great news! I was sorry to hear about the You Say We Pay debacle and hope that it didn’t have any bad repercussions for you and your FABULOUS show! I have missed having you to come home to (on my telly), I don’t like that Lily Savage fellow so much, he’s a bit too camp for my liking, before the watershed too. Some people think he’s funny but he’s just not my cup of tea, I prefer your show because it is a bit more intellectually stimulating what with your wine and book clubs, like you get in the Telegraph.
Please could you send me a signed photograph (one of the both of you together would be ideal but if that’s not possible, one of each of you would be fine, it takes up another page in my book but I don’t mind for real celebrities like you!) for my collection? I would be really grateful as you are my favourite chat show hosts, you really make your guests feel welcome and relaxed and at home. I used to like Phillip Schofield and Fern Cotton but I don’t even know if they’re on anymore, I go to work during the day and only get home in time to catch the last half of you or Lily Savage. I don’t think they have as much onscreen chemicals as you two, but then they haven’t been married as long as you.
